Technical Product Manager - Azure Cloud Platform

Overview

In this role you will lead the Azure Cloud Platform as a product, aligning technical capabilities with business value. You will own the platform roadmap, collaborate with engineering teams and business customers, and drive secure, scalable cloud adoption. You will partner with Microsoft to transform cloud usage and accelerate time-to-market for finance products. This role blends technical depth with product leadership to deliver a self-service, governed platform that supports regulated financial services.

Responsibilities
  • Own the Azure Cloud Platform vision, roadmap, and lifecycle
  • Define and deliver platform features across networking, IAM, policy enforcement, automation, and compliance tooling
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape long-term platform strategy
  • Provide a white-glove onboarding experience for application teams
  • Define and track metrics like platform adoption, provisioning speed, policy compliance, and developer satisfaction
  • Apply lean product principles and outcome-driven planning
  • Champion internal developer platform principles and self-service infrastructure
  • Ensure security and compliance through IAM, policy-as-code, and audit tooling
  • Create clear documentation and onboarding materials supporting platform adoption
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in product management, platform engineering, or cloud architecture
  • Deep understanding of Azure services, enterprise landing zones, and Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Experience with Terraform, Bicep, CI/CD tooling, and cloud governance
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical solutions and influence architecture
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field
  • Preferred: Hands-On Azure; developer experience tooling; platform-as-a-product thinking; knowledge of financial services or regulated environments
  • Experience with OKRs, product analytics, and value stream mapping
  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-900) desirable
  • Product management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, SAFe, AIPMM) a plus
