Overview

As Technical Product Manager at Wayve, you own the roadmap for the development and experimentation vehicle platform, aligning software, hardware, and operations to enable rapid iteration. You collaborate across engineering, program management, and internal teams to translate platform needs into scalable capabilities that accelerate experiments and data collection. You’ll steer tradeoffs, define KPIs, and drive tooling improvements to support faster, more reliable deployments. This role offers impact across Wayve’s autonomous driving priorities in a high-trust, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve the roadmap for development & experimentation vehicle platform features
  • Gather and prioritize requirements across engineering, program management, and internal customers; translate into workflows, specs, and measurable success criteria
  • Define and track platform product KPIs; maintain a cohesive view of current capabilities and future plans
  • Make product tradeoffs and manage stakeholder expectations across competing priorities
  • Reduce time-to-debug and deploy experiments by improving tooling and processes
  • Drive reuse and scalability of capabilities across reference vehicles and customer programs; minimize one-off configurations
  • Improve consistency between internal development environments and customer-operated workflows
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience shipping autonomy / AV features end-to-end (concept → integration → validation → release)
  • Strong systems thinking; assess impact of platform changes on downstream development, data, tooling, and operations
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; able to challenge respectfully across engineering through leadership
  • Track record coordinating cross-functional execution across multiple teams to deliver complex programs
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with embedded platforms, with involvement in architecture, development, and validation
  • Thrives in fast-paced, iterative environments with evolving priorities; brings momentum and calm
  • Scrappy, resourceful, and outcomes-focused
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
