Overview

As Technical Product Manager for Platform, you own the intersection of infrastructure and commercial value. You’ll shape platform stability, back product roadmaps, and translate engineering work into business outcomes. You’ll work closely with Platform Engineering Manager and Platform Tech Lead to align priorities with revenue and customer impact. You will write code and review PRs, maintaining credibility with senior engineers while guiding cross-team collaboration. This role offers visibility, impact, and a path to scale critical infrastructure for a fast-growing fintech.

Responsibilities
  • Own platform stability with SLA/SLO metrics, incident rates, and release quality
  • Hold release gating authority to prevent high-regression releases
  • Enforce centralized CI/CD standards to avoid fragmented solutions
  • Track stability alongside business outcomes and report on impact
  • Own the platform investment business case and cost/ROI evaluation
  • Manage the platform roadmap and backlog prioritized by business value
  • Make trade-offs explicit to unblock high-value product teams
  • Act as the single point of contact for Pod Leads and translate requirements between pods and platforms
  • Write code, review PRs, and participate in architecture design as a core contributor
  • Contribute to leadership forums and translate technical milestones into business milestones
  • Drive cross-team collaboration, gather buy-in, and escalate unsustainable requests
  • Provide a strong technical voice in roadmap decisions without owning final architecture
  • Ensure platform work is visible to leadership and tied to product outcomes
Key requirements
  • Deep hands-on engineering background with production systems experience
  • Strong commercial instinct: build a business case, speak to ROI
  • Exceptional stakeholder management across product, engineering, and finance
  • Comfort with ambiguity and long-horizon platform value
  • Track record of contributing as an IC at a senior, cross-team level
