Overview

As Product Owner in the Digital Customer Platform, you shape the online journey across MAG airports, balancing customer needs with commercial goals. You’ll partner with UX, engineering and content teams to prioritise features that boost engagement and conversion. You’ll lead backlog management and delivery in an Agile environment, leveraging data to guide decisions. This is a pivotal role at a stage of digital transformation, offering room to drive optimisation and measurable improvements in customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Own and prioritise product backlogs for digital touchpoints across Manchester, Stansted, and East Midlands airports
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria and sprint priorities with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retros, backlog refinement)
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX and content to deliver high-quality customer outcomes
  • Support continuous improvement of product delivery processes and Agile ways of working
  • Lead optimisation initiatives to improve engagement, conversion and usability
  • Coordinate experimentation and A/B testing with UX and digital teams
  • Utilise customer, behavioural and performance data to inform prioritisation and decisions
  • Ensure digital experiences align with customer expectations and business strategy
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across CAVU and MAG and communicate roadmaps and delivery progress
  • Balance customer needs, technical considerations and commercial priorities in decision-making
  • Work across multiple teams to ensure successful delivery of initiatives
Key requirements
  • Product Owner or product-led delivery experience
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and product delivery practices
  • Experience managing backlogs, writing user stories and sprint-based delivery
  • Exposure to digital optimisation, experimentation or A/B testing
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and use data to support decisions and prioritisation
  • Experience collaborating with UX, engineering and content teams
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as GA4 (advantageous)
