Overview

In this role you will design, develop and maintain the UKI Edition of the Core Product within an Agile Scrum team. You will translate business and regulatory needs into robust technical solutions, work with cross-functional colleagues, and ensure high-quality product enhancements and defect resolutions. You will drive technical design, testing, and release readiness while aligning with the product architecture and roadmap. This is a hands-on, collaborative position that supports healthcare-focused software delivery at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test and maintain UKI Edition functionality to meet regional requirements
  • Build integrations, reports, data migration utilities, JS enhancements and other features
  • Analyze requests and feedback to determine optimal technical solutions
  • Produce technical specifications and maintain technical documentation
  • Ensure compatibility with Core Product releases and impact assessment
  • Collaborate with Product Owner/Manager and Scrum Team to refine and deliver backlog items
  • Support release planning and ensure features are production-ready
  • Undertake unit testing and support integration, regression and UAT
  • Investigate and resolve defects; support complex third-line issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, maintainability, usability and quality
  • Share knowledge and best practices across the Product Team
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to translate needs into high-quality solutions
  • Contribute to strategic product initiatives for the UKI Edition
Key requirements
  • Software development or technical configuration experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to translate requirements into robust designs
  • Web technologies experience (HTML, JavaScript, related frameworks)
  • SQL, database design, data analysis and data migration knowledge
  • Clear technical documentation and specification writing
  • Understanding of web/intranet architecture and system integration
  • Experience in Agile Scrum (backlog refinement, planning, iterative delivery)
  • Ability to estimate technical effort and manage sprint priorities
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Commitment to software quality via testing and peer reviews
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
