Overview

As a Technical Scrum Master, you will guide two London-based development teams delivering the MEAN stack and broader product suite. You’ll blend agile leadership with hands-on engineering practices to curb technical debt, improve quality, and accelerate delivery. You’ll collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and UI/UX to shape user stories, acceptance criteria, and design decisions in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Responsibilities
  • Lead agile development processes (Scrum) across two development teams
  • Promote engineering practices, manage technical debt, and monitor code quality
  • Oversee continuous integration, frequent check-ins, and rapid resolution of build/test issues
  • Employ test-driven development with automated unit and integration tests
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlogs and define user stories
  • Facilitate design workshops, planning, and estimation sessions
  • Guide UI/UX input into implementation and design decisions
  • Support sales opportunities with technical input and maintain product quality standards
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Proven Agile methodologies experience as both developer and Scrum Master
  • Hands-on JavaScript experience
  • Experience as a Software Developer
  • Experience designing and developing user interfaces with best practices and guidelines
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
  • TDD and Continuous Integration experience
  • Containerization experience
  • Collaborative and cross-functional teamwork
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Effective communication and facilitation in workshops
