Overview

In this role, you lead the technical services for MEP across the portfolio to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation. You partner with managers, service partners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality hard FM services while meeting ISO 9001 standards and client needs. You drive energy performance, risk control, and continuous improvement to support occupiers and visitors. The position combines operational leadership with technical problem-solving, reporting, and commercial oversight within a globally recognized real estate firm.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee delivery of planned and reactive Hard FM services across properties, including direct labor and subcontractors
  • Ensure Health & Safety, quality, and compliance standards and SLAs are met to achieve profitability
  • Review and align site policies/procedures with ISO 9001 and client requirements
  • Develop and implement operational best practices and initiatives
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and safe working practices; manage building events and audits
  • Lead One Team collaboration among management, partners, and stakeholders
  • Produce monthly performance reports and monitor KPIs; manage contract performance
  • Manage service partners and contracts, driving improvements and cost effectiveness
  • Serve as Responsible Person for Legionella (Water) and manage risk registers
  • Provide high-quality technical reports for client requests and expenditure approvals
  • Lead risk management controls, audits, and HSE culture across the team
  • Monitor budgets, invoices, and procurement; optimize value for money
  • Oversee energy management at building level and contribute to smart building initiatives
  • Ensure out-of-hours support for occupier events and special projects
  • Maintain DBS clearance and DBS-related compliance
  • Possibly engage in non-contractual operational tasks as needed
  • Maintain alignment with client assets and Nabers energy reporting
  • Support the change process and strategic advice for a diverse team

Key requirements
  • Industry relevant qualifications
  • CAFM, Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency
  • Approximately 10 years’ experience in technical engineering management
  • National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH or IOSH)
  • Proven technical problem-solving track record
  • Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to produce technical reports
  • Change management skills for diverse groups
  • DBS clearance (cost borne by JLL)
  • Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders
