Overview
In this role you support Service & Repair across EMEA, focusing on field service for robotic surgery equipment. You will engage customers, perform preventive maintenance, and drive service revenue while upholding quality and customer satisfaction metrics. You’ll build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders and cross-functional teams, contributing to Medtronic’s vision of market leadership in service provision. This is a travel-heavy role based in London and the UK&I with occasional wider coverage.

- Interact with customers within your territory to understand and resolve service needs
- Repair and schedule preventive maintenance visits; help grow service revenue via contract sales and renewals
- Achieve service performance metrics including Net Promoter Score to enhance market reputation
- Identify and pursue revenue opportunities with customers; drive service & repair revenue growth
- Engage with key decision makers (Clinical engineering, EBME heads) to build long-lasting relationships
- Comply with operational guidelines and QA procedures
- Degree, HNCs or equivalent in electronic/electro-mechanical engineering
- Service experience with medical equipment or healthcare; experience with high capital equipment, especially robotics
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative; ability to contribute to process improvement
- Customer-focused attitude; proven ability to build long-term relationships and exceed expectations
- Commercial astuteness; ability to recognize and pursue revenue growth opportunities
- Ability to troubleshoot and technically diagnose medical equipment
- Experience in a hospital environment and usage of maintenance tracking software; prior training experience is a plus
