Technical Services Engineer (Powerplant)

In this role you act as DHL Air’s on-site representative at third-party maintenance facilities, ensuring oversight and clear communication with MROs. You will maintain compliance with UK CAA requirements and company procedures, while building strong relationships with internal and external partners. You’ll support key maintenance activities, including EIS and ROL, and assist operations at DHL’s bases when needed. The role offers exposure to international stakeholders and a critical impact on aircraft reliability and cost control. • Interface between DHL Air (UK) Ltd and contracted MRO/Part-145 organisations to ensure oversight and clear communication
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company procedures, UK CAA requirements, and NAA documentation
• Build and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders and external maintenance partners
• Support Entry into Service (EIS), Return off Lease (ROL), and other major maintenance or project activities
• Provide assistance to DHL Air’s main operational bases when needed
• Ensure contracted MROs deliver high-quality workmanship, support aircraft reliability, and meet budgetary expectations
• Uphold professionalism and integrity in liaison duties

• UK CAA Part 66 Licence (or equivalent)
• Current or previous type approval on B757, B767, and/or B777
• Five years’ relevant experience in base maintenance or a similar technical environment
• Flexibility to travel at short notice, including extended periods

• Strong organisational abilities and workload prioritisation
• Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to procedures
• UK CAA Part 66 regulatory knowledge
• Aircraft type approvals for B757, B767, and/or B777
• Base maintenance and on-site liaison experience with MRO/Part-145 organisations
