Technical Software Development Manager

Shape technical direction for OSI Maritime Systems software feature teams, applying C, C++, Python, and engineering discipline to complex delivery.

This Software Development Manager leads technical execution across mission-critical navigation and tactical solutions. You will direct developers, testers, and Technical Team Leads while partnering with Software Project Managers and cross-functional teams. The position covers software design, testing, release, risk mitigation, and predictable delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct developers, testers, and Technical Team Leads
• Partner with Software Project Managers on scope and priorities
• Deliver complex software on predictable timelines
• Maintain architectural standards and quality expectations
• Drive testing, automation, and development practice improvements

Requirements:

• Seven or more years of development experience including technical leadership
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and/or Python
• Windows-based application development experience
• Knowledge of software design, testing, and CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills
