Technical Solutions Application Specialist

Lead technical solutions across Western Canada with AutoCAD, mechanical calculations, and customer-focused application expertise for industrial projects.

Applied Industrial Technologies seeks a Technical Solutions Application Specialist for MRO customer solutions. You will develop reliable, safe, innovative applications while coordinating Technical Services, Shops, Distribution teams, and vendors. Your work spans complex projects, proposals, commissioning support, troubleshooting, and aftermarket consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own complex projects from concept through completion
• Develop and present technical proposals to customers
• Support commissioning, aftermarket service, and troubleshooting
• Conduct site visits, measurements, and application assessments
• Coordinate teams, vendors, training, and sales planning

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude; P.Eng or CET preferred
• Extensive bearing, power transmission, and conveyor knowledge
• AutoCAD or three dimensional drafting experience
• Precision measurement and mechanical calculation abilities
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and project leadership skills
