Technical Solutions Application Specialist

Technical solutions expertise drives this Western Canada position with Applied Industrial Technologies, focused on mechanical applications and customer-facing project delivery.

As a Technical Solutions Application Specialist, you develop and deliver personalized solutions for MRO customers. You lead complex projects from concept to completion while collaborating with Technical Services, Shops, Distribution teams, and vendors. Your work supports reliable, safe, and innovative industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own complex projects from concept through completion
• Write and present technical proposals to customers
• Support commissioning, aftermarket service, and consultations
• Visit customer sites, troubleshoot equipment, and gather measurements
• Develop standardized technical project proposal documents

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude; P.Eng or relevant CET preferred
• Extensive bearing, power transmission, and bulk material handling knowledge
• AutoCAD or three dimensional drafting experience
• Ability to perform precise component measurements
• Ability to complete mechanical calculations and assess risks
