Overview

In this early-career role, you will support engineering readiness by validating solutions, delivering customer-facing materials, and collaborating across Product Development, Management, Sales Engineering, and Services. You’ll help ensure successful product introductions, demonstrations, trials, and customer engagements. This position sits in the Solutions Engineering & Introduction team, contributing to lab validation and cross-functional delivery in a fast-paced, global setting. Responsibilities
  • Manage lab assets and maintain optical lab systems to support team requirements
  • Define customer-facing technical presentations, test plans, release notes, and engineering guides
  • Create and validate technical deliverables enabling new product features and solutions
  • Deliver product demonstrations, lab trials, field trials, deployments, and solution tests
  • Capture product issues and customer enhancement requests and route feedback into R&D processes
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical consultation, solution evaluation, design support, and engineering guidance
  • Resolve complex or urgent field issues escalated from Global Technical Support
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or related discipline
  • Good knowledge of telecommunications and optical transport systems with understanding of photonic and optical protocol
  • Organized and detail-oriented; strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent English communication, verbal and written; ability to present to varied audiences
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones and cultures
  • Residence in the United Kingdom and readiness to work extensively in a lab environment
