Technical Support Engineer

Salary: $37,440 - 62,400 per year

• College degree with a computer science focus is highly preferred
• SQL knowledge and prior programming experience, gained through education or work
• 1-2 years of directly related help desk experience is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present effectively and facilitate conversations at all levels
• Solid consultative, customer-focused service skills
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint
• 2 years of technical support experience

• Handle incoming customer support calls and gather details through probing questions
• Manage support cases in our JIRA-based ticketing system
• Keep customers updated regularly while tickets are being resolved
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout support interactions
• Maintain a professional manner at all times
• Use SQL frequently to extract and manipulate data from customer databases
• Complete light scripting and programming tasks as assigned
• Develop a basic understanding of our business goals and how our software supports them
