Technical Support Engineer - Robotics

Salary: $60,000 - 65,000 per year

• Bachelors degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience in laboratory instrumentation, automation, technical support, or a related field preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated troubleshooting ability
• Working knowledge of laboratory techniques, sample preparation, and basic analytical chemistry
• Experience with laboratory robotics, automated sample preparation, or analytical instrumentation preferred
• Familiarity with sample preparation for SVOC analysis, metals digestion, or environmental testing is a plus
• Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong hands-on mechanical and technical abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Strong presentation and teaching skills, with the ability to adapt training to different audiences
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and manage challenges at customer sites
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Willingness to continually learn new instruments, software, and analytical applications
• Professional, customer-focused approach with an emphasis on building lasting relationships
• Ability to travel approximately 50–75% of the time, typically for overnight trips of 2–5 days
• Ability to travel primarily within the United States, with occasional international travel
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record

• Install robotic and automated sample preparation instruments at customer sites
• Train customers to use our instruments
• Provide applications support and troubleshoot technical issues
• Develop expertise in our robotics product line
