Technical Systems Lead

We're looking for a hands‑on Systems Lead to join a technology team supporting and developing a broad range of business systems, integrations and digital platforms.

This is a varied technical role combining integration, development, ETL and technical support. You'll work across multiple platforms, troubleshoot complex issues and help ensure critical systems and integrations operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Systems Lead

Contract | Hybrid | West Yorkshire

• Maintain and develop EDI and integrations using XML, CSV and JSON.
• Develop and maintain scripts using PHP, TypeScript and PowerShell.
• Build and maintain Pentaho ETL transformations.
• Work with REST APIs, webhooks and MS SQL Server.
• Support internal PHP/web platforms and digital solutions.
• Troubleshoot customer, supplier and internal system issues.
• Work with customers and suppliers to define integration requirements and manage onboarding.
• Act as a technical escalation point for systems, platforms and integrations.

About You

You'll have strong hands‑on experience across a number of the following:

PHP | TypeScript | PowerShell | REST/APIs | XML/cXML | SQL/MS SQL Server | ETL

This role would suit a technically capable and adaptable individual who enjoys variety, solving problems and working across different technologies rather than focusing solely on software development.
