Overview

As a Technical Test Engineer, you will drive testing across infra projects and support OpenShift/Kafka-based microservices transformation. You’ll perform hands-on test execution, contribute to environment setup, and ensure readiness for testing stages. You’ll collaborate with Hotline teams, Technical Teams and Business stakeholders to assess environment impact and manage risks. This role suits a proactive tester who translates infrastructure changes into effective verification. You will help shape test strategies and ensure timely delivery within an agile context.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to infrastructure projects by defining technical test requirements and informing test strategies
  • Perform hands-on test execution (manual and automated) and report progress
  • Support environment infrastructure setup and create supporting documentation
  • Prepare and refresh cross-platform test environments and escalate issues as needed
  • Assess environment impact of infrastructure changes (e.g., security patches)
  • Guide on ensuring environments are ready for testing activities
  • Escalate risks, issues, and concerns to the Scrum Master as required
  • Interface with Hotline teams, Technical Teams, and Business for environment impact assessment and problem resolution
Key requirements
  • 5+ years hands-on testing experience
  • Finance industry experience
  • BDD/TDD, Agile
  • Infrastructure projects experience
  • Technology stack: HP Non-Stop, Linux, UNIX, OpenShift, Kafka, Java, C#, SQL, CICD
  • Tools: UFT, Azure Dev Ops, Splunk, Cucumber, Selenium
