Overview
As an SAP EAM Consultant, you will design, configure, and optimize SAP EAM solutions to improve asset maintenance processes. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into practical specifications and enable smooth deployments. You’ll support integration with other SAP modules and guide go-live activities while driving continuous improvements. This role offers impact through enabling efficient asset management at scale in a digital transformation context.
Responsibilities- Analyze asset management and maintenance requirements
- Configure and support SAP EAM processes (Technical Object Management, Equipment & Functional Locations, Maintenance Planning, Preventive & Corrective Maintenance, Work Order & Notifications Management, Refurbishment)
- Lead workshops and requirement gatherings with business users
- Develop functional specs and support technical developments
- Coordinate integration with SAP MM, PM/EAM, FI/CO, PS, IS-U (desirable)
- Support SIT/UAT, defect resolution, and go-live activities
- Provide user training and process documentation
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and continuous improvement
- Support data migration, testing, and enhancements implementation
- 5+ years of SAP EAM/SAP PM consulting experience
- Strong understanding of maintenance management processes
- Hands-on experience in SAP EAM configuration and support
- Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation or support projects
- Ability to create functional specifications and work with ABAP development teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in incident analysis and root cause identification
