Overview

In this Platform Engineer role, you will secure and operate enterprise artifact platforms to strengthen software supply-chain integrity and traceability. You join the Core Platform Engineering team to deliver artifact-management and governance services, collaborating with security, architecture, and risk teams globally. You will automate security controls, enable SBOMs, and drive compliant, cloud-native deployments. This on-site opportunity in London offers broad scope to shape secure SDLC practices and platform health.

Responsibilities
  • Operate enterprise artifact repositories and registries for packages, binaries, containers, and build outputs
  • Define standards for repository structure, retention, immutability, traceability, and auditable promotion
  • Integrate software composition analysis, open-source governance, and automated security gates into CI/CD pipelines
  • Enable SBOM generation and validation, artifact signing, and provenance verification
  • Reduce supply-chain risk via dependency governance and continuous monitoring
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, architecture, and risk teams to define secure controls and respond to incidents
  • Automate cloud deployment, policy enforcement, evidence collection, and compliance reporting through IaC
  • Monitor platform health, lead incident management, and recommend enhancements
Key requirements
  • Experience operating enterprise artifact platforms and supply-chain security controls
  • Knowledge of repositories, CI/CD, open-source governance, SBOMs, signing, and vulnerability management
  • Python or Go programming skills
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Helm or Ansible and automated security controls
  • Cloud-native and Kubernetes experience
  • Security-minded with ability to automate developer-friendly security controls
