At Computacenter, our Group Information Services team plays a central role in helping the business use technology to deliver better outcomes for our customers, colleagues and partners. As a Technology Business Partner, you will sit at the heart of that connection, acting as the trusted link between GIS and a defined business area.
This is a highly visible partnering role where you will build strong senior relationships, bring structure to demand, help shape technology roadmaps and ensure business priorities are clearly understood and delivered in line with enterprise standards. You will work across a collaborative matrix of strategic partners, architecture, service management, product, programme and cyber security colleagues, bringing clarity, pace and pragmatism to complex conversations.
What you’ll do
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a primary technology contact for your aligned business area
- Understand business goals, priorities and challenges, translating them into well-formed technology opportunities and demand
- Shape, assess and prioritise initiatives using consistent criteria, ensuring they are clear, justified and aligned to enterprise standards
- Maintain an accurate business roadmap and support decisions around project, product and investment priorities
- Represent business priorities across GIS forums, helping connect stakeholders, surface dependencies and resolve issues early
- Support clear communication on delivery status, risks, issues, change and governance requirements
What you’ll need
- Strong experience of business partnering stakeholder engagement or relationship management within a technology-led environment
- The ability to translate business needs into clear technology demand, priorities and Outcomes
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing expectations in a complex matrix organisation
- Strong commercial awareness, including the ability to support investment cases and balance business value, risk, cost and capacity
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations
- An understanding of technology governance, architecture, cyber security, data protection and service delivery principle.
