Technology Business Partner

As a Technology Business Partner, you connect Group Information Services with a defined business area to shape technology opportunities. You will build senior-level relationships, translate business goals into demand, and align initiatives with enterprise standards. You’ll maintain the business roadmap and help prioritise project, product and investment decisions. This is a hands-on role in a collaborative, matrix environment where you influence delivery, governance and risk management, driving value for customers and partners. You will shape technology strategy in a leading IT services organisation and contribute to a culture of teamwork and performance.

• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders as the primary technology contact for the aligned business area
• Translate business goals and challenges into clear technology demand and opportunities
• Shape, assess and prioritise initiatives using consistent criteria aligned to enterprise standards
• Maintain and communicate the business roadmap, guiding project, product and investment priorities
• Represent business priorities across GIS forums, surface dependencies and resolve issues early
• Support clear communication on delivery status, risks, issues, change and governance requirements

• Experience in business partnering or relationship management within a technology-led environment
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technology demand and outcomes
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and influencing decisions in a matrix organisation
• Strong commercial awareness to balance value, risk, cost and capacity
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to bring structure to ambiguity
• Understanding of technology governance, architecture, cyber security, data protection and service delivery
