Technology Lead, Electronics and Software (Defence Role)

Join a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced electronics, software and systems solutions for Defence & Security customers. You’ll provide technical leadership across complex product development projects, working closely with engineers, scientists and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical delivery of electronics and software projects
  • Drive system architecture and requirements definition
  • Work directly with clients and key stakeholders
  • Support bids, proposals and customer engagement
  • Deliver innovative solutions across the full product lifecycle
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering team

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics, Software, Physics or a related discipline
  • Experience leading or contributing to complex product development projects
  • Strong background in:
    • Embedded Software
    • Electronics Design (RF/High-Speed)
    • FPGA Development
  • Understanding of Linux, networking and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

  • Defence or Security industry experience.
  • UK Security Clearance eligibility
  • Consultancy experience
  • NPI / Design for Manufacture experience
  • MOD or DSTL exposure
