Overview
In this Technology Support I role within J.P. Morgan’s Commercial & Investment Bank, you ensure production stability, availability, and performance of mission-critical applications. You work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot incidents, monitor flows, and apply AI-assisted methods to accelerate triage and remediation. You will engage in problem management, incident handling, and responsible LLM-powered developments to deliver reliable, compliant production systems.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and monitor production application flows to ensure end-to-end service delivery
- Utilize AI capabilities for incident triage and problem analysis with validation and security awareness
- Participate in problem management to improve operational stability and availability
- Identify issues, document solutions, and support incident/problem/change management
- Apply AI-assisted practices to identify recurring interruption patterns and guide remediation
- Develop and troubleshoot LLM-powered microservices and pipelines for reliable production
- Provide Level 3 support for LLM-enabled systems, including rollouts/rollbacks and dependencies
- Create data quality rules and guardrails for prompts, context, inputs/outputs, including PII redaction and toxicity filters
- Produce architecture/design artifacts, model cards, lineage, prompt libraries, and evaluation plans ensuring regulatory compliance
- Drive LLMOps: CI/CD integration, approvals, reproducibility, automated evaluations, canary releases, and multi-environment lifecycle
- Formal training or certification in IT services and troubleshooting
- Experience using enterprise AI capabilities for production support with strong validation practices
- Ability to validate AI-assisted incident recommendations and escalate when uncertain
- Experience with large-scale on-premises or cloud environments
- Formal training or certification in software engineering with LLM-enabled systems
- Strong coding skills in Java/Python and SQL for building LLM-enabled services
- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud data management (Redshift, DynamoDB, Aurora, Databricks)
- Experience with secure secret management, networking, and least-privilege access
- Proficiency in automation, CI/CD, and agile methods with LLMOps extensions
- Experience in system design, LLM architectures, retrieval layers, vector stores, caching, observability
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Understanding of how large language models work including embeddings, retrieval, and data-modeling challenges
