Telecom Network Engineer - Wireless

About the Role

Our client is seeking a specialized Telecom Network Engineer with expertise in wireless technologies to join their team in East London. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure wireless network solutions, including Wi-Fi, cellular (4G/5G), and other wireless technologies.
• Perform site surveys, RF planning, and optimization to ensure optimal wireless coverage and performance.
• Monitor wireless network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wireless network problems, including connectivity issues, interference, and signal degradation.
• Maintain wireless network hardware and software, including access points, controllers, and management systems.
• Stay updated on the latest wireless technologies, standards, and security best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in wireless network engineering, with a focus on cellular or enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
• Strong understanding of RF principles, propagation, and wireless network design tools.
• Experience with wireless network protocols, security standards (WPA2/3), and management platforms.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the East London area.
