Come onboard as a temporary Data/GIS Analyst with the NWMO, specializing in the safe management of environmental data. Positions available in Toronto or Ignace with a hybrid work model.
In your role, you'll collaborate with the Site Characterization team to support data workflows for nuclear waste management. Your responsibilities will emphasize the processing and quality assurance of environmental monitoring data. You will also provide user support and contribute to system enhancements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support environmental data management processes
• Train staff on data tools and documentation
• Collaborate for data analysis insights
• Review environmental data for quality compliance
• Maintain documentation and metadata processes
Requirements:
• 4-year degree in Science or related field
• 2-4 years working with data systems in regulated settings
• Strong knowledge of data quality assurance
• Excellent detail orientation and organization
• Strong communication abilities in oral and written form
