Providing leadership in coding processes, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Inpatient Coding Specialist will manage coding workflow, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and serve as a clinical coding expert in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinates coding workflow and handles complex accounts Organizes and prioritizes coding work to ensure compliance with regulations and hospital targets Serves as a clinical coding subject matter expert and identifies documentation clarification opportunities Required Qualifications Tennessee Licensed Inpatient Coding Specialist certification (CCS preferred) Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in inpatient coding High School Diploma or GED Expertise in medical coding and terminology Strong understanding of compliance regulations and payer communication
