Test Analyst

In this role you will join Grant Thornton's Digital Audit team to ensure our digital tools reliably support audit services. You will design and execute tests across functional, regression, integration and system levels, validating data and outcomes. You will log defects, collaborate with developers, auditors and product owners, and help drive test process improvements and automation. • Design, write and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration and system testing
• Validate data integrity and system outputs against expected results
• Log defects and track issues through resolution in the test management system
• Collaborate with developers, auditors and Product Owners; support User Acceptance Testing
• Improve testing processes and support introduction of test automation tools

• Proven experience in software testing (manual and automated) within an SDLC and Agile context
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and QA best practices; web application testing including cross-browser compatibility
• Experience in financial services, audit or consulting environments; understanding of financial systems, ERP platforms or audit processes
• Exposure to automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Postman or Playwright) and data validation
• ISTQB certification (preferred but not essential)
• Well-organised, analytical, and able to communicate clearly; capable of prioritising multiple projects and working independently or in cross-functional teams
