Test and Applications Engineer

In this role you will test, evaluate and support high-power RF products from prototype to production, bridging production and customers. You’ll design and execute test plans, perform failure analysis, and troubleshoot RF performance issues while supporting customers with integration challenges. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing and quality teams and help develop automated tests and documentation. Occasional travel to serve clients adds a customer-facing dimension to the work.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for high-power RF products and systems
• Perform failure analysis and troubleshoot RF performance issues
• Act as technical authority for customers on integration and performance optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality) to support product readiness
• Contribute to the development of automated testing systems and generate technical documentation
• Provide direct customer support and travel as needed (UK and overseas, ~5–10% annually)

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
• Production testing, measurements, fault finding, and test process execution
• RF testing knowledge with proficiency in RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators)
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical topics to internal teams and customers
• Analytical, proactive problem-solver who works well in a small engineering team
