Overview
In this role you will design, build and maintain test automation frameworks for client projects across Scotland and the UK. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in agile or DevOps environments to deliver robust automation solutions. You’ll apply modern testing approaches to complex systems and cloud-based architectures, contributing to high-quality software delivery. The position offers travel and client-site exposure within a leading independent testing specialist within Eurofins Digital Testing.
Responsibilities- Analyze and design test automation requirements
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using modern tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile or DevOps settings
- Provide clear test reporting and communication to stakeholders
- Work independently with proactive problem-solving and strong organizational skills
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Utilize version control, build environments and deployment practices
- Leverage non-functional testing tools (e.g., JMeter) when applicable
- Experience with test analysis and design
- Expertise with automation tools (Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, Cucumber)
- Programming in Java, JavaScript, or C#
- Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban, DSDM, SAFe)
- Experience with TDD/BDD and CI/CD
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of development tools such as version control and deployment practices
- Desirable knowledge of monitoring or non-functional test tools (e.g., JMeter)
