Overview

You join a new test automation squad building and governing automation for music production products. In this hands-on role, you help create and maintain the automation framework, CI integration, and regression suites used across product squads. You’ll contribute to live dashboards and AI-assisted test generation, shaping how automation scales with quality. The position offers hybrid or office-based work in Cambridge and a chance to set the technical direction of a new capability.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain the automation framework and toolchain according to squad standards
  • Develop and sustain CI integration and multi-platform test agents
  • Create automated tests for initial regression suites on pilot projects
  • Contribute to live coverage and results dashboards to communicate automation progress
  • Develop AI-assisted test generation aligned with tooling and review standards
  • Collaborate with Lead Test Automation Developer, product squads and QA to promote framework adoption
  • Help establish and enforce coding standards within the squad
  • Support cross-team awareness and knowledge sharing on test automation patterns
Key requirements
  • Test automation experience building maintainable regression suites
  • Proficient in C++ and scripting languages such as Python
  • JUCE experience is advantageous
  • Experience with CI pipelines, ideally Jenkins; familiarity configuring build/test agents is beneficial
  • Strong debugging, testing, and technical communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a small squad, follow shared standards, and participate in code reviews
  • Fluent in English with strong writing skills
  • Interest in music technology, creator tools, hardware/software integration, or audio workflows
  • Open to AI-assisted test generation concepts and disciplined review of generated scripts
