Overview

InMusic seeks a Test Automation Developer to help build and maintain an automation framework and CI/instrumentation for music production products. You will join a new squad, collaborate across product teams, and help scale automated testing, reporting, and AI-assisted test generation. You’ll shape the testing backbone used by multiple squads and ensure high quality across the portfolio. This is a hands-on, ground-up role in a collaborative, creative environment with clear impact on product quality and developer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Help implement and maintain the automation framework and toolchain in line with squad standards
  • Build and maintain CI integration and multi-platform test agents, plus test reporting
  • Develop automated tests for initial regression suite on pilot projects
  • Contribute to live coverage and results dashboard for automation progress and quality
  • Develop AI-assisted test generation aligned with tooling, prompts, and review standards
  • Collaborate with Lead Test Automation Developer, product squads, and QA to promote framework adoption
Key requirements
  • Test automation experience with regression suites that scale and stay reliable
  • Proficiency in C++ and scripting languages such as Python
  • Qt/QML experience is an advantage
  • Experience with CI pipelines, ideally Jenkins; experience configuring build/test agents is an advantage
  • Strong debugging, testing, and technical communication skills
  • Fluent English with strong writing skills
  • Interest in music technology, creator tools, hardware/software integration, or audio workflows
  • Practical view of AI-assisted test generation and disciplined review
