Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Enthusiastic Automation Test Engineer for our growing team.

As the Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for the: designing, developing, and maintenance of automated tests, making sure the quality of software through the use of CI/CD pipelines.

Key areas of responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.


• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing during development cycles.


• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure test coverage and alignment with application requirements.


• Identify, report, and track defects discovered during test execution and work with the development team to resolve them.


• Maintain and refactor test scripts to ensure scalability, efficiency, and compatibility with application changes.


• Optimize test execution times by eliminating redundancies and improving test design.


• Generate and analyse automated test reports, providing insights into test results and software quality.


• Perform load and performance testing to validate the system’s scalability and reliability under stress.


• Stay updated with new testing tools and techniques, constantly improving the automation framework.

Key skills we are looking for:

• Understanding of Software Engineering principles, ideally within a cloud native environment


• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress for functional and UI testing.


• Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for seamless test integration.


• Understanding of testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber for efficient test execution and reporting.


• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) for collaboration and issue management


• Certifications (beneficial to have): - ISTQB Certified Tester - AWS certifications, eg. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
