Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional agile team to deliver cloud-based solutions
  • Design automated test coverage from requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Specify automated test cases and review approaches with testers and QE professionals
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Investigate failures, identify root causes, and improve automation reliability
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to engineering standards for automated testing
  • Enhance AI-supported test automation framework with fellow engineers
  • Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, scalability, and maintainability
  • Evaluate new automation techniques and AI-assisted approaches to improve testing effectiveness
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with build and platform engineers
  • Contribute ideas to boost product quality and team effectiveness
  • Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement activities
  • Contribute to shaping the future direction of automation capabilities
Key requirements
  • Degree-level education preferred in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in test automation with JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Proven experience with Playwright or a comparable framework
  • Advantageous experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
  • Understanding of agile software development and CI/CD environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality improvement through automation
  • Professional English proficiency (written and spoken)
  • ISTQB CTFL certification desirable; CTAL Test Automation Engineer certification advantageous
