Overview
Lead QA and automation initiatives across Agile teams to raise quality and delivery speed. Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers and Scrum teams to define QA strategy and roadmap. Drive automation framework development, standards and best practices, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Mentor QA engineers, remove blockers, and maintain clear QA documentation. This backfill role offers impact working on scalable automation and shaping testing approaches at iCapital.
Responsibilities- Lead QA and automation initiatives across Agile teams
- Partner with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum teams to define QA strategy and roadmap
- Drive automation framework development, standards, and best practices
- Prioritize QA activities, remove blockers, provide status updates, and maintain QA documentation
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor QA team members and provide automation leadership
- Strong Quality Engineering and Test Automation background
- Hands-on experience with Playwright + TypeScript (preferred), Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid, and BDD frameworks
- Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to work independently and lead automation teams
- Interview requirement: VS Code, Node.js, and Playwright installed and ready
- Willingness to learn Playwright if experienced with other tools
