Test Consultant

In this role you will support customers through the Kainos Smart Product Suite, delivering value via test planning, execution, and knowledge transfer. You’ll work with a global team to understand client needs, define test scopes from their Workday configurations, and help improve both tests and products. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and customers to enable successful adoption of cloud-based testing solutions.

• Execute, report, and maintain customer test packs as part of the Smart Gold Service
• Analyze customer test coverage and recommend enhancements to increase value
• Liaise with customers regularly to support Smart Gold Service
• On-board customers and provide BAU support for Smart Automated Test, Audit and Shield Applications
• Analyze customer Workday configurations to understand domain-specific setups (HCM, Recruiting, Financials, Payroll, Security)
• Define, design, and refine test packs from discovery, ensuring alignment with customer test strategy
• Create test packs in Kainos Smart balancing efficiency and value
• Transfer knowledge of Smart Testing Applications to customer teams and colleagues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Smart Testing and Audit products with feature suggestions and collaboration with development
• Work as part of a team and support junior members to foster an inclusive culture

• Excellent customer focus in a customer-facing environment
• Honours-level degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field
• Experience with manual and automated testing (desirable)
• Exposure to software development, business analysis or QA/test consulting environments (desirable)
• Experience with on-premise or cloud-based Financials/Business Applications (CRM, ERP, BI, HCM) (desirable)
• Experience with Workday Application Suite (desirable)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to prioritise, plan workload, and meet deadlines
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics
• Attention to detail and ability to work in remote or customer-facing settings
