Test Development Engineer

In this role you will contribute to the design, integration and validation of test system hardware within MBDA’s Test Equipment Design Team. You will support the full design process, participate in reviews, address manufacturing queries and drive risk reduction, integration and qualification activities. You may lead work packages and coordinate deliveries under the guidance of the Technical Lead or Equipment Project Manager. • Support the design process at all stages including design reviews
• Answer manufacturing queries and assist with risk deduction activities
• Assist with integration and validation of test system hardware
• Report to Technical Lead or Equipment Project Manager
• Lead on packages of work and manage deliveries contributing to the overall solution
• Collaborate in an international environment to deliver products

• Proven experience in hardware design for test systems
• Knowledge of test needs and techniques in product life cycle development
• Experience with design proving and performance testing during development
• Experience with environmental and EMC testing during qualification
• Strong document writing skills associated with hardware design
• Experience in managing small packages of work (desirable)
