Test Engineer

In this role you will design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test systems for 5G RF and wireless products, ensuring reliable verification across the product portfolio. You will develop modular test frameworks and execute 3GPP-aligned tests across 5G/6G domains, collaborating with product and development teams to translate requirements into test architectures. You will integrate tests across components and create clear technical documentation, contributing to scalable, high‑assurance testing. • Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test systems for 5G RF and wireless products
• Develop modular, scalable test frameworks (Python, with some C/C++) for 5G RF and digital interfaces
• Deliver 3GPP-aligned testing across 5G/6G domains using automated tools and custom platforms
• Capture and translate requirements from product and development teams into test architectures and scripts
• Integrate test systems to ensure consistency across components and products
• Develop digital interface test capability for high-speed interfaces
• Produce technical documentation including user guides, architecture descriptions, and test procedures

• RF Test proficiency – ability to configure test equipment
• 5G/6G knowledge – understanding of 3GPP specifications, wireless architectures, RF behaviour
• Automation experience – building automated test workflows with remote operation, logging, reproducibility
• System level thinking – deriving test requirements from architecture and specs
• Technical communication – producing clear documentation for internal teams and customers
• Python development – writing modular, well-structured code for automated tests
• Problem solving – diagnosing issues via data, logs, measurements; proposing solutions
