Test Engineer

In this role you will support a large-scale systems integration programme within a collaborative, agile team. You will design, execute and improve testing across software, infrastructure and integrated systems to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction. The work combines manual and automated testing to validate functional, integration and non-functional aspects. You’ll engage with engineers, suppliers and stakeholders to drive quality and continuous improvement, contributing to critical, real-world solutions.

• Create and execute test plans, test cases and test reports
• Perform manual and automated testing across integrated systems
• Investigate defects, identify root causes and support resolution
• Collaborate with engineers, suppliers and stakeholders
• Report testing progress, risks and issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives

• Experience in software testing, systems integration, or technical delivery environments
• Strong understanding of the testing lifecycle (Functional, Integration, Non-Functional)
• Experience creating test cases from requirements and designs
• Experience testing integrated or third-party systems
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• ISTQB/ISEB Foundation qualification or equivalent experience
