Test Engineer

In this role you will contribute to the manufacture, assembly and testing of items in a collaborative, project-driven environment. You will diagnose faults, maintain documentation, and support engineers and planners to ensure high-quality results. You will work on production test activities that keep critical electronics and mechanical components functioning to specification.

• Perform electrical, electronic and mechanical assembly to defined standards
• Identify and log faults with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain essential documentation throughout the build/test process
• Use tools and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Work closely with engineers, planners, and project teams in a team-based environment

• Experience in a Production Test or multi-skilled environment
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and engineering drawings
• Knowledge of through-hole & surface mount technology
• Fault diagnosis and repair down to component level
• HNC/HND in Electronics or equivalent + 3 years’ relevant experience
• Confident user of MS Word & Excel
