Performance Test Engineer | 6-Month Contract | Glasgow | Hybrid

A Performance Test Engineer is required to support end-to-end non-functional testing across complex application environments. The role will focus on performance, scalability, stability and reliability, working closely with development, architecture, infrastructure and business teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define performance test requirements, workload models and test plans
  • Develop and maintain LoadRunner/Performance Centre scripts and test data
  • Execute performance tests, monitor systems and analyse results
  • Identify bottlenecks, performance risks and appropriate mitigations
  • Produce performance metrics, test summaries and status reporting
  • Support performance testing across cloud and legacy environments

  • Web HTTP/HTML, TruClient and Web Services
  • MuleSoft, TIBCO and Mule ESB
  • Dynatrace / AppDynamics
  • Performance testing frameworks and standards
