About the project

Our client is maturing a bespoke software platform built on Python microservices integrated with custom hardware. With no previous dedicated test function, this is a rare opportunity to make a visible impact on product quality from day one.

The role

You’ll be a hands‑on Test Engineer helping establish robust QA practices, testing existing code, and expanding automated coverage. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy and taking initiative rather than waiting for tasks to be assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Functional, integration, and system testing of microservices
• Develop and maintain automated tests
• Work closely with developers to improve testability and quality
• Contribute to test plans and continuous improvement of QA practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines with reliable automated testing

• Experience as a Test Engineer or QA Engineer in modern software teams
• Automation‑focused mindset with solid manual testing skills
• Comfortable working independently and proactively
