Test Lead

In this role you will own test governance and assurance for OT/network infrastructure upgrades within a cyber resilience programme. You coordinate testing of software upgrades before production and create artefacts that prove the solution is suitable, proportionate and safe to deploy. You will partner with programme leads and cyber security SMEs to ensure changes are validated prior to release. The role focuses on OT domains such as logging/monitoring, physical security and backups, offering a meaningful impact on critical infrastructure resilience.

• Author written test plans covering scope, scheduling, resources and success criteria
• Review solution designs and threat models and map to system requirements
• Define test cases with cyber security SMEs tied to those requirements
• Create and maintain artefacts for test exit and sign-off (test reporting, defect tracking, traceability, evidence)
• Produce assurance artefacts evidencing suitability and proportionality of proposed solutions
• Support OT-focused programme areas in logging/monitoring, physical security, and backups

• Test lead / test management with governance and assurance discipline (strategy, planning, requirements traceability, defect management, exit and sign-off)
• Genuine OT/ICS/SCADA exposure (utilities, energy, or other CNI/safety-critical environments)
• Ability to read designs and threat models to derive proportionate, requirements-mapped test cases
• Strong written communication for release documentation and evidence
