Test Lead - Dynamics 365

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong expertise in quality assurance and test management, with proven experience leading testing activities for enterprise ERP implementations. The Test Lead will own the regional testing strategy and execution for a rollout, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, effective defect management, and overall readiness for go-live in collaboration with functional, technical, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Write and own the regional test strategy and plan: SIT, UAT and regression, entry and exit criteria, schedule and sign-off.
• Lead the test analysts and business testers, allocate work and keep execution on plan.
• Build test scenarios with the functional, technical and business teams that follow complete business processes, including integrations and migrated data.
• Chair the daily defect triage with the functional and technical leads, agree priorities and manage retesting.
• Manage scenarios, test cases, results and defects in Azure DevOps Test Plans or JIRA.
• Extend regression automation where it saves effort across later rollout waves.
• Run testing as a workstream: plan, resourcing, RAID log and weekly status.
• Arrange test data and environments with their owners, and keep regional testing in line with global programme standards.
• Report progress, defect trends, risks and readiness to client stakeholders and programme leadership.
• Support cutover rehearsals, deployment checks and post-go-live testing.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA), software testing, or test management.
• At least 3 years of experience leading test teams or UAT activities on enterprise-scale programs.
• Proven experience leading testing for ERP implementations, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans or JIRA for test management, execution tracking, and defect reporting.
• Strong understanding of SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect lifecycle management, test planning, and quality assurance methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate testing risks and readiness to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Regression Suite Automation Tool (RSAT) or other D365 test automation solutions.
• Experience managing multi-country or regional ERP rollouts.
• Retail domain experience, particularly in enterprise retail transformation programs.
