We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to support a major UK Defence programme in Reading. The successful candidate will lead testing activities across SAP and Azure DevOps environments , working closely with technical, engineering and programme stakeholders to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across SAP and Azure DevOps environments.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, scenarios and schedules.
• Coordinate functional, integration, system and acceptance testing.
• Manage test execution, defect identification, tracking and resolution.
• Use Azure DevOps to manage test cases, defects, requirements and reporting.
• Work closely with SAP technical and functional teams to support effective testing.
• Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, issues and quality.
• Coordinate with project and delivery teams to ensure testing aligns with programme milestones.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Test Lead / Senior Test Manager / Test Manager .
• Strong experience testing within SAP environments .
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
• Experience leading complex testing programmes across multiple technical teams.
• Strong understanding of test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Previous MOD / Defence experience is essential.
• Current DV clearance is essential.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly secure, on-site environment.
