Overview

As an Electrician/Electrical Tester, you will inspect, test and commission small power installations on an industrial site to ensure safe, compliant operation. You’ll join a project at NZT, Teesside, contributing to on-site electrical delivery within a broader energy-transition mandate. This role focuses on hands-on testing and commissioning, with regular daytime hours and potential weekend work. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to uphold safety standards and project timeliness. This opportunity offers hands-on impact on industrial electrical systems within a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect electrical systems for compliance and safety
  • Perform testing and commissioning of small power installations
  • Maintain and document test results and certifications
  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Adhere to health and safety and JIB standards
  • Support ad-hoc weekend work when required
