Theatre Manager Technical Director

Lead theatre operations and technical direction at Fort Steele Heritage Town and The Wild Horse Theatre in Fort Steele, BC. Oversee staff, volunteers, and programming.

The Friends of Fort Steele seek a Theatre Manager responsible for facility management and historic entertainment program development. The position also oversees the theatre department, supervises staff and volunteers, and serves as Technical Director for The Wild Horse Theatre. Theatre education or equivalent experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee facility management for Fort Steele Heritage Town
• Develop historic entertainment programs for both venues
• Oversee the theatre department and its operations
• Supervise theatre staff and volunteers
• Act as Technical Director for The Wild Horse Theatre

Requirements:

• Post secondary theatre education or equivalent theatre experience
• Five years working within a live theatre setting
• Facility management experience is an asset
• Management and administration experience
• Windows computer skills and strong communication abilities
