As part of Thumbtack's Business Applications Team, you will be responsible for creating software that bridges operational gaps within our internal structures. Your expertise in both React and backend technologies such as Go or Python will enable you to develop tools that help teams understand and improve agent performance. This role involves deep collaboration with business teams to translate complex needs into reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities: • Design user interfaces for agent configuration and workflow approval • Build evaluation tools to make agent activities transparent • Manage software features from inception to maintenance • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational ambiguity • Continuously monitor released features for performance improvements
Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years software engineering experience • Strong background in React for frontend development • Proficient in backend technologies like PHP and Go • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and challenging scenarios
