Job Description:

  • Around 8 years of experience.
  • Integration & Configuration: Implement and configure Netcool OMNIbus, Impact, and WebGUI for alarm monitoring.
  • Alarm Management: Integrate network alarms from various sources (e.g., OSS, BSS, NMS) into Netcool.
  • Scripting & Automation: Develop Tivoli Netcool ObjectServer SQL (NOI), Perl, Shell, or Python scripts for event processing and automation.
  • Customization & Enrichment: Define event correlation, suppression, and enrichment rules to reduce noise and improve alarm clarity.
  • Database & Data Handling: Configure probes, gateways, and adapters to handle alarm ingestion from diverse network elements.
  • Incident Resolution: Collaborate with NOC and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve alarm integration issues.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune Netcool components for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
