Toronto Fire Services Technology Chief

Lead technology strategy for Toronto Fire Services as Division Chief, overseeing mission-critical systems, modernization, and operational readiness. Work Monday to Friday, 35 hours weekly. Reporting to the Deputy Fire Chief, Communications, Technology, and Organizational Performance, you will lead technology services supporting operational and business needs. This permanent leadership role oversees multidisciplinary teams, technology roadmaps, complex projects, cybersecurity, and service continuity. You will collaborate with City divisions, emergency service partners, vendors, and senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

Direct technology planning, modernization, delivery, and continuous improvement Lead multidisciplinary teams and foster inclusive performance Develop strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks Oversee complex projects, programs, risks, and implementation Maintain reliable, secure mission-critical systems and services Requirements:

Post-secondary education in technology, computer science, engineering, business, or related discipline Extensive strategic technology leadership and modernization experience Experience leading large, diverse technology teams Experience with complex projects, change management, and risk mitigation Knowledge of cybersecurity, continuity, recovery, and technology risk Apply strategic leadership, modernization expertise, and service management knowledge to strengthen Toronto Fire Services technology operations.
