Overview

In this role you will support trade attribution, data quality, and client reporting across portfolios. You’ll partner with trading, operations, technology, and sales teams to ensure accurate capture and explanation of trade activity through data-driven analysis. You will drive improvements in controls, reconciliations, and reporting to support audit, risk management, and client outcomes. This position offers opportunities to deepen expertise across the trade lifecycle and contribute to operational excellence in a global asset management environment. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver clear insights and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily trade attribution and matching across multiple asset classes
  • Monitor and resolve exceptions affecting attribution and Client Book of Record data integrity
  • Collaborate with trading, operations, and technology to ensure accurate trade data capture
  • Validate data quality, completeness, and consistency across platforms
  • Execute controls and reconciliations, identify root causes of breaks, and support remediation
  • Maintain procedures and documentation to support audit and risk requirements
  • Address trade-related inquiries from management and sales
  • Explain activity, allocations, pricing differences, and lifecycle events with data-backed analysis
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting on attribution, exceptions, and data quality
  • Identify process improvements and support automation and efficiency initiatives
  • Partner with data and tech teams to enhance reporting, controls, and exception management
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
  • Experience in asset management operations, middle office, trade support, or related environment
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle across asset classes (capture, allocations, settlements, lifecycle events)
  • Experience handling large datasets, reconciliations, and data discrepancy investigations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail and data quality
